This project involved the conversion of a traditional bungalow into a two storey dormer bungalow. The build also included a total internal reconfigeration and refurbishment
.The finished result of this project added an entire new floor to the property. To accomodate this a dorma as shown on the left was added to both sides of the existing roof.
To accomodate the new layout the existing floors had to be strengthened with new steelwork and upgraded floor joists designed by local structural engineer Bill Hancock.
The finished upper floor incorporated a large bedroom area and en suite bathroom. This was a welcome addition and transformed the property. The ground floor was also completely opened out, re-decorated and a new kitchen fitted.
